Each year, we want to make sure kids in Gate City have the opportunity to write the next chapter in the Little League® story, regardless of their situation. Thanks to the generous support of T-Mobile, financially challenged families in our community can apply for the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant, which is focused on helping to cover registration fees associated with Gate City Little League for the upcoming season! Little League and T-Mobile share the belief that every kid should have the chance to play ball.

The program offers a simple-to-use online application and is available to families in need with proof the child is currently receiving Medicaid benefits, SNAP or WIC, so long as funding is available. Please note, documents will need to include the child’s name and eligibility/issued dates (within the last 12 months or have a future expiration date) verifying their low-income status in order to complete the application. Physical cards for Medicaid, SNAP or WIC that do not provide current dates and the child’s name will not be accepted.

Our registration fees are as follows:

$45 - 1st Child

$35 - 2nd Child

$25 - 3rd Child

$15 - 4th Child

Household maximum will be $120 for children living under the same roof. There is a $3.00 transaction fee that is added on to each transaction that goes to Sports Connect for their online services.
